A living history event that explores the many layers of history in Chesterfield County. Experience portrayals of 17th century exploring Captain Christopher Newport, 18th century depicting aspects of the Continental Army to include musket drills, military music and period cooking. Explore the life of British Light Infantry in 1781 and interact with General Marquis de Lafayette. Engage living history depicting 19th century and learn about the impact of the Bermuda Hundred Campaign of the Civil War. Enjoy crafts, trades, children's activities of the time and food vendors selling the modern favorites.
