Description
The last day for Internet Registration was Jul 3, 2026 11:59 PM.
This summer we have an amazing returning opportunity for those who love to spend time outside and want to grow their outdoor skill set! Over the course of six Fridays, we will be learning all about habitats, fire building, shelters, leave no trace principles and so much more. This camp will take place at the Haughn Natural Area, which is perfect for nature exploration and has space for lots of fun games. We hope to inspire the next generation of nature lovers and show how important it is to care for the land around us. We hope to see kids with all ranges of outdoor experience and comfortability. You don’t need to be an expert to come to this camp, just someone who likes to spend time outside! To celebrate what we’ve learned over six weeks we will be having an OVERNIGHT CAMP-OUT for the last program on Friday, August 14 starting 2:30 pm to Saturday, August 15 at 10:00 am. Campers will be sent a packing list and more details closer to the date.
Programs will run rain or shine, so dress appropriately for the weather. Bringing water, sunscreen, and a lunch with extra snacks throughout the day is recommended. Appropriate footwear will be helpful on the trail. We will be playing near/in a brook so shoes that are comfortable to wear in the water are required.
