Nature Academy in Nature's Classroom at the Chesapeake's Arboretum

October 23 | Skeleton StoriesSpooky skeletons can tell us everything we need to know about an animal. Join us as we look at different animal bones, take a hike along the creek, and make a creepy craft. $10 per child.
Nature Academy in Nature's Classroom is a monthly outdoor class for kids ages 5 through 12 at the Chesapeake Arboretum. Since 2018, the class has educated youth on our native plants and animals, while also instilling a sense of stewardship for our local environment. The classes take place on the fourth Thursday of every month from Spring to Fall, with each class consisting of a new, stand-alone topic.

This outdoor program takes place rain or shine. Please dress your child appropriately for the weather. Water, sunscreen, and bug-spray are strongly recommended.
