Paddle the Dismal Swamp Canal from the Ballahack Boat Ramp to the north trail head and enjoy the beautiful views of fall from water. Bring your own canoes, kayaks, and Stand Up Paddle Boards (no motors) and USCG approved personal flotation device. A continental breakfast is provided in the morning and a picnic lunch awaits paddlers at the end.

Day of Notes:Paddlers will drop off their watercraft at the Ballahack Boat Ramp located at 3700 Dismal Swamp Canal Trail, Chesapeake, VA 23322 and then park their vehicles at the Dismal Swamp Canal Trail Boat Ramp Launch located at 1246 Dismal Swamp Canal Trail, Chesapeake, VA 23322 and enjoy a complimentary breakfast. Shuttle buses will transport paddlers to the event start with an anticipated launch time of 9:00 a.m. After completing the event, paddlers will be able to pick up their lunch.
Registration is required for breakfast, lunch, swag bag, and transportation.
