Working from life and photographic reference, discover how watercolor can be used to create both realistic representations and expressive, abstract interpretations. The course emphasizes drawing, composition and visual storytelling while introducing essential watercolor techniques such as transparent washes, glazing and layering, wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, dry brush, lifting, masking, and expressive mark-making.
