Mini Musical Theatre Camp (Three Billy Goats Gruff) A Playful Introduction to Performing Arts Location: Studio D, Downtown Mall Dates: June 8–12 Schedule: Monday–Thursday: 12PM-2PM Friday: 12:00 to -2:30 PM Final Showcase: Showcase 2PM Friday Eligibility: Open to rising Kindergarten–3rd grade students Camp Overview This year’s Mini Musical Theatre Camp offers a brand-new theatrical adventure, designed especially for our youngest performers. While families may recognize the Mini Camp format from previous summers, the story, activities, and creative focus are all new for 2026. Through age-appropriate singing, acting, movement, and imaginative play, students will explore the basics of musical theatre while building confidence, creativity, and collaboration skills. What to Expect Throughout the week, campers will: Learn simple songs and movement Explore character through storytelling and play Practice listening, taking turns, and working as an ensemble Rehearse a short, original performance to share with family All activities are carefully paced and developmentally appropriate for young performers. Final Showcase The week culminates in a short, informal showcase on Friday at 2PM, where students will share what they’ve been working on in a supportive, celebratory setting. Please note: Due to limited space in Studio D, we kindly ask that 2–3 family members per student attend the showcase. Participant Requirements Attire: Comfortable clothing suitable for movement; closed-toe shoes required Supplies: Labeled water bottle and snack Communication All camp communication will take place through a private BAND app group.
