Description

Did you know winter is a good time to learn how to identify migrating ducks? Well, suit up for this half-day program where we will travel to three different location to see how many ducks we can fine! After our duck-viewing adventure, we will end at Plum Creek Nature Center to view the Federal Duck Stamp Art Display while we get cozy by a fire, enjoy hot beverages and raffle off door prizes. We will meet at Rock Run Rookery Preserve then drive to Monee Reservoir and finish at Plum Creek Nature Center. Participants are responsible for their own transportation. Plum Creek Nature Center is an accessible facility. Each hike will be less than 1 mile on terrain that may include uneven, natural surfaces. Please dress for the weather.
