Take your birding to the next level and view them from the water! From a safe distance, explore birds of every color in places that can only be seen by boat. Wear shoes and clothes that can get wet, and don’t forget your sunscreen, sunglasses and a water bottle. All equipment is provided, including life jackets. Previous kayaking experience is required, as this is a recreational program and not an instructional paddling program. The natural surface launch area is accessible by a paved trail from the parking lot.
Ages 14 or older. (Participants younger than 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult.)
