Take a walk on the wild side at the acclaimed Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. Nestled in Tucson Mountain Park adjacent to Saguaro National Park (West), the 98-acre attraction is home to a zoo, botanical garden, natural history museum, art gallery, and aquarium — all in one destination! Enjoy a self-guided tour through the museum’s lush gardens and picturesque surroundings as you experience the incredible sights and sounds of the Sonoran Desert together. Afterwards, hike the King Canyon loop in Saguaro National Park. Transportation and entrance fees included; there will be an independent lunch stop. Difficulty: Moderate. Distance: 2.5 miles (hike only). Elevation gain: 410 ft (hike only).Hiking shoes or hiking boots with good tread and at least 1/2 gallon of water are required for this excursion.
