The World Tang Soo Do Association is a proud to announce the grand opening of Silver City Martial Arts classes will hosted at the Carson City Community Center. Classes are held Mondays and Thursday.
With 18 years of experience the4 Segoviano family has run and operated martial arts program in the Lake Tahoe Area. We strive in teaching youth and adults core values of of our martial arts and will continue to expand and grow in order to better teach and serve our community.
Tang Soo Do is a martial art focused on core values, aside from self defense, it promotes mental and physical enhancement, discipline, and self control. We welcome anyone and everyone to come and be part of the crowd and witness first hand how this art can benefit you or any friend/ family member.
In 1968 Grandmaster Joe Chul Shin came to the U.S. as a representative of the Korean Tang Soo Do Association. He formed the U.S. World Tang Soo Do Federation in Burlington, New Jersey. The new organization exponentially grew 1996 with over 100,000 members listed in 36 different countries. The west coast consists of different regions with North-Cal to Washington being Region One including Nevada.
There is a $15 uniform fee and $30 association fee to be paid to the instructor in the first month.
