Curious about Ethnic Studies? Wondering why students fought for it to exist? Join this week-long course which covers the student-led birth of ethnic studies, its basic principles, and implications for our future. In light of the nature of this course, there will likely be a range of opinions and perspectives. Ideally, you will find yourself engaging with one another in respectful discussion. Participants will leave this course feeling empowered, optimistic, and confident in their power as students. Students enrolled or considering enrolling in the Upper School Academies Programs (Civic Leadership, Service Learning, or Global Engagement) may want to participate in this camp to further their knowledge in their field of interest.
