You will engineer functional lifting systems out of cardboard and cord, discovering how "mechanical advantage" can give you the power to hoist heavy payloads with ease.  Finally, put your structural skills to the test in the Bridge & Crane Challenge. You will design powerful cranes that balance tension and weight, competing to see whose machine is the strongest and most efficient.
