From Scene to Edit is a crash course in shooting and editing a complete narrative scene. The goal of this course is to give beginner filmmakers a clear understanding of how a scene moves from script to screen, including all of the steps in between. Beginning students will gain foundational exposure to on-set workflow and post-production, while more experienced students will deepen their understanding of the filmmaking process, particularly in blocking, sound recording, slating, and camera movement. By the end of the course, students will have participated in a full production cycle and edited a completed scene in Adobe Premiere Pro.
