About this event
What does it really mean to be an entrepreneur? In this highly interactive course, middle school students will learn by doing. Each day presents a new challenge inspired by real-world founder scenarios—encouraging creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving under time constraints. Students might be asked to build a business idea in 30 minutes, redesign an everyday product, improve a school process, or convince a partner to join their business idea. Through these hands-on challenges, students develop confidence, communication skills, and an early entrepreneurial mindset while learning that great ideas come from curiosity and persistence—not perfection. The emphasis is on experimentation, collaboration, and learning from failure in a supportive environment. Students enrolled or considering enrolling in the Upper School Academies Programs (Civic Leadership, Service Learning, or Global Engagement) may want to participate in this camp to further their knowledge in their field of interest. See the link to the Academies page on the PRS website.
