About this event
Designed for upper school students, this course simulates the fast-moving, high-pressure decisions entrepreneurs face every day. Students will tackle a series of weekly challenges that mirror real startup and business scenarios—rapid idea creation, branding under tight deadlines, persuasion without resources, and strategic collaboration. Rather than focusing on theory, this course emphasizes execution, critical thinking, and adaptability. Students learn how to pitch ideas, evaluate trade-offs, influence others, and iterate quickly based on feedback. The environment is energetic, competitive, and collaborative—helping students build practical skills that apply far beyond business. This course is ideal for students who are curious about entrepreneurship and enjoy interactive, hands-on activities in a fun, low-pressure setting. It’s a great fit for students who like creative problem-solving, working with peers, and trying new ideas—no prior business experience required. Perfect for students who want to explore entrepreneurship. The course is led by Rachel Farris, a nationally recognized CPA, entrepreneur, and thought leader in accounting and business, named by Forbes as one of America’s Top 200 CPAs and by CPA Practice Advisor as a 40 Under 40 Top Accounting and Tax Professional. She is the Founder & CEO of Tax Stack AI and Managing Partner of a tax advisory firm. In this session, students will gain exposure to how modern businesses operate, guided by someone who works daily with entrepreneurs and executives.
