Welcome to the After-School iPad Art Studio. Students are invited to bring their own iPads, along with their biggest ideas and passion projects, so we can help bring them to life. Together, we will dive into the exciting worlds of digital painting, animation, 3D modeling, and 3D printing. Participants will get hands-on experience mastering incredible apps like Procreate, Procreate Dreams, Nomad Sculpt, Adobe Photoshop, Fresco & Animate. Our goal is to teach these wonderful applications while fostering a fun, relaxed, and open-studio environment. Whether collaborating on a group endeavor or tackling a solo masterpiece, students will create with the dedicated guidance and coaching of an experienced digital artist. To ensure every artist has the tools they need to succeed, all students will have full access to our studio iMacs equipped with Nomad Sculpt and the Adobe Creative Suite as a fantastic alternative to personal devices. However, because the most authentic and intuitive digital drawing experience is truly best captured on your tablet, we highly encourage students to bring their own devices. Please note that iPad applications Procreate, Procreate Dreams and Nomad Sculpt, are not provided by the school and will need to be purchased individually. 1st Trimester: Digital Painting During our first trimester, we will focus on digital painting using Procreate, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Fresco. We will explore both the unique differences and the helpful similarities between these powerful applications. By experimenting with each software, students will learn how to choose the perfect tool to match their personal artistic vision. 2nd Trimester: Animation 3rd Trimester: 3D Modeling & Printing
