Enter yourself, organization, company, team, or family to participate for free in our 2023 Carlisle Halloween Parade between August 19-October 22.
Pre-registration is required - available online, over the phone 717-243-3318, or in person at the Stuart Community Center, 415 Franklin Street.
After the deadline, registrants will be emailed with their parking spot number. Numbers will be distributed at the line up site at a check-in table.
Parade General and Staging Information:
- Your entry MUST be decorated and in costume to participate in the parade. Drivers are the only exception.
- KEEP KIDS SAFE, HAND OUT CANDY CURBSIDE.
- NO candy throwing, paper handouts, trick cars, four wheelers (unless towing), firearms, explosives, or flashing/swirling lights.
- REST ROOMS are available at Biddle Mission Park.
- Stopping to perform anywhere along the parade route is NOT allowed and will help prevent gaps from forming.
- 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners will be selected in each division. Awards sponsored by: The Dave Hooke Team of Keller Williams of Central PA
- The winners for Divisions I, II, and III will be announced at the Square. Division IV winners will be announced at the end of the parade. Winners will be announced on Facebook. If you are a winner, a check will be made out to the contact person, and mailed to the address below.
Divisions & Line-up Locations: Division I: Small Walking Groups: 1-10 people #s 100’sLine-up: Carlisle Alliance Church
Division II: Large Walking Groups: 11+ people #s 200’s Line-up: Biddle Mission Park
Division III: Walking Groups w/ Vehicle #s 300’s Line-up: North Street – #s start at Church
Division IV: Floats #s 400’s Line-up: North Street – #s start at Park
Division IV: “Car” Clubs #s 500’s Line-up: Spring Garden Street, Garrison Lane
Queens Line-up: Porter Ave. - West Side
Radio Stations Line-up: Porter Ave. - East Side
Bands Line-up: Carlisle Alliance Church
Parade Route - kick off @ 7:00 p.m.
From the intersection of North and East Streets, the parade route will go West on E. North Street to Hanover Street; turn south on Hanover Street to Willow Street where parade disbands. Total distance = 0.9 miles start to finish.
