In mid-June the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens in Boothbay offers a peak early-summer experience. Find a vibrant landscape dominated by colorful peonies, lupines, iris, and rhododendrons, complemented by early shrub roses and ornamental Allium. The gardens are exceptionally lush during this period, with perennials in full bloom across themed areas like the Giles Rhododendron Garden, the Lerner Garden of the Five Senses, and the Arbor Garden.
