About this event

Description

The Mount Royal University Women’s Soccer program will host a single-day Spring Soccer ID Camp designed to provide prospective student-athletes with an authentic university soccer experience. This camp offers participants the opportunity to train in a competitive environment while gaining insight into the expectations, culture, and standards of post-secondary soccer at Mount Royal University.
The ID Camp is intended for female athletes who are interested in pursuing soccer at the university level and learning more about the MRU Women’s Soccer pathway. Athletes will take part in on-field sessions that allow the coaching staff to observe technical ability, tactical understanding, athletic qualities, and coachability within a game-realistic setting. In addition to training, participants will have opportunities to interact with current MRU players and staff to better understand daily life as a student-athlete.
The day will also include an overview of the MRU Women’s Soccer program and a campus tour, providing valuable context around academics, student services, and the overall university environment. This camp is suitable for motivated athletes who are currently competing at a high level and are seeking exposure to the post-secondary game while evaluating their future options.
The Mount Royal University Soccer ID Camp is a limited-capacity event. Registration will close once all spots are filled, and further event details, including scheduling and logistical information, will be communicated to registered participants in advance of the camp.
