Description

Get into the Halloween spirit with a spooktacular afternoon of pickleball! Come dressed in your best costume, meet some new friends, and compete for a chance to win some incredible prizes.
No partner? No problem. You can register as a pair or as an individual, and we will pair you up with someone when you arrive, so everyone gets a chance to play. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
Partner Registration GuideChoose team registration. If you're the first in your partnership to register, you will be designated as team captain. You must then register to the team you created. Simply creating a team does not register you automatically.
If your partner has already created a team, DO NOT create another team. This will take away an available space from a different team. Simply choose team registration and pick your partner's team name from the list. Spots will fill up fast, so please register at the same time as your partner.
If you have not paid the $5 registration fee, that means you are not fully registered.
Individual Registration GuideChoose the individual registration option, and get paired with another individual on arrival.

Program Participant Requirements

• Current MRU Student
• All participants must adhere to MRU's recreation guidelines

What to bring

• Costumes (please make sure you can move safely in it)
• Paddle if you have one (no pressure if you don’t we can provide)
• Water bottle
• Activewear
• Indoor shoes
• A smile!
• Dietary restrictions or allergies: snacks will be provided, so please email adaptiverec@mtroyal.ca ahead of time

Rules

• Games roughly 7-11 points (pickleball scoring)
• Doubles / wide lines
• Kitchen line (dark grey)
• Mix of round robin and tournament style format
• Once games are finished, report scores @ the scorers table

Registration Fees Cover

• $5 entry fee covers tournament entry, paddle use if needed, snacks, drinks, and prizes
