Description

Mount Royal is hosting its first annual pickleball tournament! We are open to all skill levels and want this tournament to be exciting and enjoyable for all. We will have two brackets, both with prizes for winning, as well as a reward for the best dressed team! The tournament is STUDENT ONLY.
The tournament is on March 6 so mark it in your calendars, and is a doubles-based tournament so find your partner! Rules will be explained at the beginning, so even if you've never played, everyone is welcome.
Registration GuideChoose team registration. If you're the first in your partnership to register, you will be designated as team captain. If your partner has already created a team, DO NOT create another team. This will take away an available space from a different team. Just pick your partner's team name from the list.

Program Participant Requirements

• Current MRU Student
• All participants must adhere to MRU's recreation guidelines

What to bring

• Paddle if you have one (no pressure if you don’t we can provide)
• Water bottle
• Activewear
• Indoor shoes
• A smile!

Rules

• Games roughly 7-11 points (pickleball scoring)
• Doubles / wide lines
• Kitchen line (dark grey)
• Mix of round robin and tournament style format
• Once games are finished, report scores @ the scorers table
