Prerequisites
  • A PAR-Q+ (medical intake form) is required for all participants before attending
What to Bring
  • A water bottle
  • Athletic clothing and footwear (something you can move in!)
Training Overview
The Big 5 Workshop is designed to educate participants on mastering the five foundational compound movements that form the basis of both athletic performance and functional strength — Squat, Hinge, Bench Press, Overhead Press, and Row.
If you would like to learn how to perform these movements efficiently, understand progression and load management, and develop the ability to adapt these skills into every function and overall health, this is the program for you!
You will leave with a stronger grasp of how to train smarter, move better, and build longevity in performance.
What You Get
  • Be able to demonstrate correct form and control for each of the Big 5 movements
  • Identify common compensations and apply simple corrective strategies
  • Understand when and how to progress load, reps, or tempo
  • Apply de-loading and recovery principles to sustain performance
  • Perform structured warm-ups to reduce injury and improve activation
  • Translate learned movement patterns into functions, everyday tasks
