NIRSA West Provincial Workshop
Join campus recreation professionals from across the province for a two-day, high-impact professional development experience focused on connection, learning, and collaboration. This workshop offers a unique opportunity to engage with peers, explore emerging trends, and share ideas that are shaping the future of collegiate recreation—all within a localized, accessible setting.
Through a mix of interactive sessions, facility tours, roundtable discussions, and intentional networking opportunities, participants will gain practical insights into recreation programming, operations, and strategic priorities. Day 1 will focus on knowledge sharing and community building, while Day 2 features guided tours of campus recreation facilities at Mount Royal University, the University of Calgary, and SAIT, offering behind-the-scenes perspectives and applied learning.
This workshop is designed to foster meaningful connections, spark new ideas, and strengthen the campus recreation community across the region.
Registration Details:
  • The registration fee is $50 + GST, which includes lunch and snacks on Day 1, as well as workshop materials and presenter support.
