Description
*Adult Adapted Cricket is a day program designed for adults living with a disability*
Come join Vecova at The Calgary Cricket Center for a fun Tuesday afternoon learning one of the world's great sports - Cricket.Want to learn how to bowl a googly? Or do you see yourself as a seam or swing bowler? With a bat in your hands, maybe we refine your square cut shot or have you charge down the pitch and lift a straight drive over the fence for six! perhaps you are interested in learning to field at Silly Mid Off or Third Man. Alternatively, you might simply want to understand why the word 'wicket' has three different meanings. Whatever the reason for wanting to learn this amazing sport, we've got you covered. However, the fun doesn't end there. At The Calgary Cricket Center's state of the art facility, we will introduce participants to Pickle Ball, Bocce Ball, and...Floor Curling...? The center also has a bowling machine for those who want to test their newfound batting prowess. The program runs Tuesday afternoons from 1pm-3pm. The facility opens it's doors at 12:30pm for those requiring early drop off and will close at 3:30pm to account for late pick up.NOTE: This program does not provide one to one support.
