About this event
Grow confident, connected aquatic leaders. Join us for the Fall 2026 Aquatic Professional Development Meeting (APDM), an in-person day designed to bring aquatic professionals together to learn, connect, share ideas, and strengthen leadership across the sector. This year’s APDM will feature a guest speaker and dedicated professional development session, offering practical ideas and fresh perspectives that participants can take back to their teams and facilities. The day will also create opportunities to connect with aquatic professionals from across BC & Yukon, exchange experiences, and learn from one another. APDM also serves as the Lifesaving Society BC & Yukon in-person Affiliate Meeting, with important updates on programs, training, events, resources, and current initiatives. Participants will have the opportunity to hear what is happening across the Society, ask questions, and contribute to conversations affecting aquatic facilities and professionals throughout the region. Whether you are a manager, programmer, supervisor, or emerging aquatic leader, APDM is an opportunity to step away from day-to-day operations, invest in your professional development, and return to your facility with new ideas, stronger connections, and practical tools to support your team. Please email amandab@lifesaving.bc.ca with any dietary restrictions or accommodation requirements.
