Annually, The Bridge Run registers 2,500+ participants and in 2020 raised $48,000.00 for the cancer and cardiac care programs at Southeast Georgia Health System. Due to COVID-19, the 2021 and 2022 Bridge Run events were canceled. The 2023 Southeast Georgia Health System Foundation Bridge Run is back and will feature a 10K Double Pump crossing over the birdge twice! Along with scores of students and adults who run for health and fun, The Bridge Run attracts top athletes from all over the U.S.A. and numerous foreign countries! The 2023 Bridge Run will also have the First Responders Challenge (formerly our Firefighter challenge). Police, firefighters, paramedics and military are encouraged to participate in this challenging 5K and be recognized for your service. Participants of all ages are encouraged to register to run or walk the course, maintaining a slower pace while enjoying the beautiful views of the Brunswick River and Marshes of Glynn.
Event details and schedule
Pre-Run Pasta Party and Vendor's Expo:
On Friday, February 17, 5 - 8 p.m. at the foot of the Sidney Lanier Bridge, Brunswick. There will be a pasta dinner and event EXPO! Pick up your bib number and shirt. Timing chips are attached to bibs.
