Instructor: Karin Persan Date: April 12 In this one night workshop, students will learn the basics of Shibori, an ancient Japanese resist-dye technique that involves creasing, folding, dyeing, stitching, binding and knotting, to create beautiful and well defined patterns. Fabric will be provided, but feel free to bring along some light colored natural fabrics to experiment with (cotton, linen, wool, etc)! -- The After Workshops are a series of high quality hands-on classes, at low cost and low commitment.
