About this event
Since plants can’t move, they rely on birds, bees, and other animals to cary their pollen from flower to flower. This class will cover the anatomy, habitat, and behavior of hummingbirds and bees as well as techniques for rendering their vivid hues in colored pencil, watercolor, and graphite. We will work from photographs and share tips for sketching in the field. This class would be most appropriate for those with some drawing experience. Materials fee: $7.
