DATES: Feb 24, Mar 3, 10, 17 Instructor: Ye'ela Wilschanski Learn the basics of basket weaving: different natural materials, types of baskets, and how to shape and weave a basket. Students will work on a variety of projects, exploring different basket weaving techniques, such as twinning, ribbing, plaiting. -- Our classes are designed to focus on a learned skill rather than a final product. At TAC, our mission is to provide skills and knowledge for a lifetime! All materials for sample making and learning the technique are included. Any additional materials will need to be supplied by the student based on their vision. 4 Week students have access to Open Studio time for free during the class and for up to a week after the class to put their new knowledge to practice.
