Wood Firing with Mike Roche in Spencer, MA Thursday, July 31st, 10am: Glazing with Mike in Spencer, MA Friday August 1st, 10am-4pm: Loading the kiln. Approximately 4 Feet of Clay members are needed to load. Saturday and Sunday, August 2nd & 3rd: Firing! We will need 6 people to stoke the kiln throughout the workshop. Shifts are 6 hours a piece and Mike teachers you how to stoke the kiln before you start. Participants will work in groups of two. We will be offering a $35 refund to those who's schedule aligns with the shifts needed. Once registered, please fill out the google form in the confirmation email with your availability. Friday, August 8th, 10am-12pm: Unloading! Each cubic foot includes shelves and posts. A pre-measured box will be available at the studio and the day of loading to measure your cubic foot. Purchase clay separately after registration. This workshop is non-refundable after April 15th.
