5 weeks Level: All Levels Whether you’re a beginner or already have some photography experience, this experimental image-making course is perfect for anyone looking to explore photographic techniques that do not require a traditional darkroom setup. Students will experiment with lumen prints using sunlight and found materials, cyanotype variations, handmade photograms, DIY pinhole cameras, and photographs made from plants, while also altering printed photographs through collage, stitching, drawing, and painting. By the end of the class, students will leave with a portfolio of one-of-a-kind experimental images and the skills to continue exploring alternative photographic processes on their own. For intensive session classes (4-5 weeks), registration remains open until the second class meeting. Missed classes are not eligible for refunds or prorated tuition.
