Instructor: Sew Happy "*NEW CLASS* Musical Narwhals is a hand-sewing project inspired by ocean life and musical fun. Students begin by practicing their stitches on a narwhal-themed bookmark before creating a decorative felt bunting made up of five triangular pennants, each featuring a narwhal playing a different instrument. Students also sew a soft pillow with a narwhal pocket on one side and a collection of appliqués on the other, allowing them to mix and match lyrics from the famous narwhal song along with playful under-the-sea designs. Hand-painted watercolor artwork printed onto felt brings this colorful project to life and gives students plenty of room for creativity and personal expression. Projects students will make: A narwhal-themed decorative bunting, a pillow with narwhal pocket and mix-and-match appliqués and lyric pieces and a practice narwhal bookmark.
