About this event
Experience the serene beauty of Barr Lake State Park while observing the majestic Bald Eagles that spend their winter here. Each outing will be led by knowledgeable Bird Conservancy staff and volunteers. They will offer insights into the behavior, habitat, and conservation efforts surrounding Bald Eagles. Whether you're a seasoned birder or a curious beginner, you're sure to learn something new! Binoculars, spotting scope, and field guides provided. Accessibility Information: This program includes traveling ~3 miles round-trip (1.5 miles to gazebo/viewing area and back) on a packed dirt trail, with little to no incline. Accessible parking and restrooms are available at the meeting location. Some adaptive equipment is available for this event.
