The Summit Mountain Challenge is a Mountain bike race series located in Summit County, Colorado. Take advantage of the various single track trails around Summit County, while competing against others. We have courses and age categories depepdning on your skill level. Register for the entire series or sign up for each race indididually. Following each race, participants over the age of 21 will receive a beer. Do not miss out on this outdoor party that is disguised as a bike race.
Peaks Time Trial is race #6 of the Summit Mountain Challenge. This time trial race begins in Breckenridge and ends in Frisco.
Event details and schedule
ONLINE REGISTRATION-Pre-register online until 6:00pm (8/30).
We accept Cash, Checks and Credit Cards.
The race goes from Breck to Frisco! We will start at the Peaks Trailhead on Country Road 3/Ski Hill Road. A Port-o-let will be on-site for your convenience. We also provide personal item delivery from the start to Highside Brewery The finish will be on Miners Creek Road just before you cross the Rec Path.
Racers 13 years of age and older will race the Peaks Trail Time Trial course.
Juniors 12 & Under will race a circuit course at the FRISCO Adventure Park.
First group to start will be Junior Girls 13-15 at 5:00pm.
First adult racer to start at 5:45pm.
Parking options:
1) Drive to High Side in Frisco before the race and warm up by riding the rec path to the Peaks Trailhead (Car pool and ride to Breck with friends).
2) Bike back to Breck following the race.
3) The Summit Stage Bus runs from Breck to Frisco and Frisco to Breck (Bike racks limited).
4) Have friends or family meet you at the finish!
Directly following the race we will meet at High Side Brewery which is located on Main Street in Frisco. Join us for a beer, great food, and awards!
