In Dirt to Dinner campers will dive into the world of food resilience and survival skills, exploring the wonders of seasonal ingredients and learning how to make the most of what the land provides. Through hands-on activities, they’ll practice canning fruits and vegetables, making their own cheese, and discovering clever ways to preserve and prepare food. This week we focus of Food Stewardship, respecting where food comes from and using every part.
Our camps are predominantly outdoors, giving kids the chance to spend their days immersed in nature. Each week includes plenty of time swimming at the beach, exploring through unstructured forest play, and enjoying open-ended outdoor games. Campers also take part in safe, supervised off-trail adventures that encourage curiosity, confidence, and a deeper connection to the natural world.
