Throughout this adventure-focused week, campers will work together on a multi-day raft-building challenge—planning, constructing, and testing a raft as a team. Along the way, they’ll explore what responsible outdoor recreation looks like, learning how to move through natural spaces with care, awareness, and respect. Our Into the Wild after school program in camp form! Campers will also take part in outdoor explorations that build confidence in nature and highlight the importance of protecting the places where we play. They’ll practice noticing wildlife without disturbing it, learn ways to reduce their impact on trails and shorelines, and gain a deeper appreciation for the land, water, and habitats that support safe, enjoyable outdoor adventure.
Our camps are predominantly outdoors, giving kids the chance to spend their days immersed in nature. Each week includes plenty of time swimming at the beach, exploring through unstructured forest play, and enjoying open-ended outdoor games. Campers also take part in safe, supervised off-trail adventures that encourage curiosity, confidence, and a deeper connection to the natural world.
* All campers must have completed Kindergarten before attending summer camp.
