Fit Gals is a supportive fitness and social program for women aged 60+. It is lead by fellow women peers and supervised by fitness professional Sandy Logan.
The class focuses on the types of exercise that are especially important for women as we age. Strength and resistance training play a critical role in women’s health, helping to maintain bone density, muscle mass, and posture while reducing the risk of falls and injury. Combined with balance work and gentle cardio, this program supports confidence, independence, and long-term mobility.
Post-Class Social: Stay for a relaxed coffee and tea social in the Community Centre Living Room to connect, chat, and build community with other Fit Gals.
No prior fitness experience is needed. All bodies and abilities are welcome to move at your own pace, and build strength safely.
