Join us for The Kiva Lantern Festival: Sharing Light Around the World — a family-friendly afternoon and evening of lantern-making, songs, and fun around the fire inspired by global celebrations of light. Together, we’ll honor traditions from many cultures that remind us to shine kindness and joy through the darker seasons. 🔥 Participants learn about celebrations of light from around the world while creating homemade lanterns, followed by a twilight walk through the field to the fire circle. 🔥 Around the fire we'll sing songs and cook a meal over the fire - hot dogs (meat and vegan), pizza on a stick, apples and mulled cider provided! Weather make-up date (due to high wind, heavy now or extreme cold): December 13 All families and ages are welcome, though the content of the event is best suited for participants ages 5+. Participants under age 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
