Join us in our elegant Gallery for Books & Bottles, featuring a journey through the culinary regions of France inspired by The Food and Wines of France by Waverley Root.
James Beard Award–winning wine expert Cat Silirie will guide you through the rich gastronomic traditions of France, drawing on Root’s celebrated 1958 book, which explores French cuisine through the lens of history, geography, and culture. Together, we will discover the country’s historic culinary “Regional Empires” and the distinctive flavors, traditions, and landscapes that define them.
Guests will enjoy a curated tasting of five exceptional French wines representing distinct regions of France, selected to bring Root’s vivid stories and gastronomic discoveries to life.
