About this event

Description

Moving to Europe—especially Switzerland—means rethinking more than your lifestyle. For U.S. citizens, dual nationals, and globally mobile families, it also requires navigating a complex financial landscape: tax residency rules, investment restrictions, retirement planning, and the implications of marrying or living with a non-U.S. spouse. This online seminar offers a clear and practical introduction to cross-border financial planning for Americans living in, or preparing to move to, Europe. Join Arielle Tucker, CFP®, EA, Founding Partner of Connected Financial Planning and host of the Passport to Wealth™podcast, as she breaks down the essential financial considerations for U.S. citizens abroad. With over a decade of expat life in Boston, Berlin, Munich, and now Switzerland, Arielle brings technical expertise and lived experience to help Americans thrive overseas. In this one-hour webinar, Arielle will cover: • Financial planning basics for U.S. citizens moving abroad • Strategies for optimizing taxes and building wealth as a dual citizen • Key considerations for U.S. citizens married to non-U.S. persons • Special rules and challenges for Americans living in or relocating to Switzerland This 1-hour session includes a 45-minute presentation followed by 15 minutes of Q&A. This event will be held live on Zoom in English. Registration is required, and the Zoom link will be sent to all registered participants prior to the event.
