Lesson 2: Learn to Purl (2x2 ribbing) Learn the purl stitch by creating a sample of 2x2 ribbing in the second session of our Learn to Knit Sampler Series taught by local knitwear designer Juliette Pecaut. Purl stitches are the reverse of a standard knit stitch, learning this foundational technique will open new doors to texture and patternmaking as you continue on your knitting journey.
