Get a head start on your summer fishing adventures! Learn rod-and-reel fishing basics in this two-hour workshop covering fundamental fishing skills, including how to put together a pole, knot tying, casting and securing hooks. Safety and ethics will also be covered. In the second hour, program participants will gain hands-on experience while fishing along the shore.
Everything needed for the program, including bait, will be provided. Shoreline fishing and the pier are accessible from the parking lot. Youth group programming is available upon request.
