Star Scientists & Space Artists: Grades 3 – 5Instructor: Samantha Berger

A fun science-based art class that explores making art projects inspired by the natural world. Through making, we will learn about rock layers, outer space, atoms, and more. Class sessions may include going outside, making art inspired by the world around us, and creating art-based experiments. Students will learn that both art and science are experimental, constantly testing out new tools and methods. There is so much magic to explore, from the physics of paper airplanes to the creation of our own solar systems, to salt painting, chemical reactions, and more!
