In this course, students will delve into the realmof mold-making and slip-casting. This 12-weekcourse will serve as a foundational introductionto common methods and principles usedto successfully produce a plaster mold and castceramic multiples. Each student will havethe opportunity to learn how to plan their project,create their own plaster mold for slip-casting,casting, firing, and glazing their piecesto completion.

Basic Materials to bring to class:

4 ct, 6" C-Clamps
3 ct - 3 gallon buckets
1 - Basic pottery tools including needle tool
1 - Disposable toothbrush
Dust mask or respirator
Apron (or wear something that can get dirty)
