Oil Pastels: Color, Texture & Expression: Grades 9 - 12

This course introduces students to the versatility of oil pastels, focusing on color, layering, texture, and mark-making. Students will explore both controlled and expressive techniques, working from observation and reference while developing their own visual style. Each session will include a short demonstration, guided exercises, and dedicated studio time. Students will complete multiple works throughout the course, ranging from quick studies to more developed pieces.

A materials list will be provided on the first day of class.
