Jewelry & Metalsmithing: Surface Embellishment
Instructor: Teri Dworkin
Various metalsmithing processes will be presented
to enhance and enrich individual projects.
These processes will be presented on a rotational
basis. Some to be considered are design concepts,
bead construction, chain making, direct casting,
colorants, foldforming, granulation, marriage
of metal, resins, reticulation, and texturing
techniques.Prerequisite: The completion of a beginning and intermediate
jewelry class including torch
soldering.Level 2 & 3
Thursdays, April 16 – June 11
12:30 pm – 3:30 pm, 10 sessions
$304 Members, $344 Guests, $68 Materials Fee
BBAC Metals/Jewelry Department Students
All Jewelry/Metals students pay a fee to cover most supplies, and the use of tools/studio equipment during the class periods.
Materials list of items to bring:-Please bring a small notebook and pencil to class-Wear close-toed shoes and long pants-Bring your own safety goggles, or you can share the studio goggles
