Jewelry & Metalsmithing: Studio Sampler
Instructor: Scott Brazeau
This class will focus on creating three separate projects incorporating different metalsmithing techniques. One project will include a basic bezel setting process to create a piece of jewelry. Another project will be a cast ring using traditional wax working and centrifugal casting techniques. And the third project will be a small scale functional object using metal forming and fabrication techniques. Most materials are provided for this class except silver products, (optional), which are not included in the materials/studio fee.
Prerequisite: Must be able to torch solder.

BBAC Metals/Jewelry Department Students
All Jewelry/Metals students pay a fee to cover most supplies,
and the use of tools/studio equipment during the class periods.
Wearing a mask in the BBAC metals studio is encouraged.
