Jewelry & Metalsmithing: Directed Studies Level 2-3

Whether it’s a matter of solving a design or engineering problem, or simply a desire to bring some long-standing projects to successful completion, this course is designed to provide students with tailored instruction for the execution of their chainmaille, wire, or fabrication projects. As such, demonstrations will not be predetermined, but instead will be provided by student request. Basic supplies and tools are provided. For projects requiring the use of silver, students will need to purchase it in addition to their material / studio fees.
Prerequisite: The completion of a beginning jewelry/metals class including torch soldering.

BBAC Metals/Jewelry Department Students
All Jewelry/Metals students pay a fee to cover most supplies,
and the use of tools/studio equipment during the class periods.
Wearing a mask in the BBAC metals studio is encouraged.
