Jewelry & Metalsmithing: Beginning/Level 1
Instructor: Janice Degen
This class is for students who have little or no experience in jewelry making. Instruction covers the fundamentals of basic tool usage and safety in the studio. Additionally, students will become engaged in the design process to create both decorative and functional metal objects. The works produced may include wearable art or small sculptures, learning metal fabrication techniques and torch soldering.

$405 Members, $445 Guests, $63 Materials Fee
BBAC Metals/Jewelry Department Students
All Jewelry/Metals students pay a fee to cover most supplies,
and the use of tools/studio equipment during the class periods.
Wearing a mask in the BBAC metals studio is encouraged.
