Advanced Drawing & Portfolio Preparation Workshop: Session 2
Grades 9 -12

This workshop is for students developing a visual art portfolio for college admissions and scholarship opportunities. Intermediate & advanced level art students who are not working on a portfolio can enroll in this workshop to hone their drawing skills. Assignments will concentrate on essential portfolio pieces with a focus on observational drawing. Both black and white, and color media will be explored.

Discussions include how to present and photograph art and other related topics that reinforce what schools are looking for in an admissions portfolio. Bring your current work on the first day for the instructor to review and develop projects to enhance your personal portfolio.
